WE STRIVE TO PASS THE TORCH ON TO THE NEXT GENERATION BY EMPOWERING THEM TO MANIFEST THEIR TALENTS WITHIN THE ARTS COMMUNITY AND USING MUSIC AS AN OUTLET TO EXERCISE CREATIVITY IN THE ENTERTAINMENT WORKFORCE.KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE HAS DONATED OVER $100,000 OF NEW INSTRUMENTS, SHEET MUSIC, SUPPLIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS IN SUPPORT OF MUSIC EDUCATION. OVER 32,000 STUDENTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN ACCESS TO NEW PROGRAMMING THANKS TO OUR DONORS AND SUPPORTERS.ALTHOUGH THE FOUNDATION IS SMALL ON MANY LEVELS, IT HAS ALWAYS EXISTED TO PURSUE AND ENCOURAGE MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS WHO ASPIRE TO GIVE THEIR STUDENTS A POSITIVE AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE IN THE ARTS. IN 2015 KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE FOUNDATION UPHELD ITS RESPONSIBILITY OF FUNDING WEEKLY DONATIONS TO MUSIC EDUCAITON PROJECTS.
