THROUGH OUR RELATIONSHIP-BASED, IN-HOME WORK ANDINNOVATIVE SHARED DATA SYSTEM, WIN NETWORK CONNECTS FAMILIES TO ANINTEGRATED "NEST" OF EARLY CARE, HEALTH CARE, MENTAL HEALTH CARE,SOCIAL SERVICES AND OTHER COMMUNITY RESOURCES WITHOUT THE RED TAPE ORDROPPED CONNECTIONS OF AGENCIES WORKING IN ISOLATION. SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 2005, WIN HAS WON 5 NATIONAL AWARDS FOR ITS EFFECTIVE SERVICES AND DEEPLY INTEGRATED MODEL, AND HAS AN ONGOING PARTNERSHIP WITH HARVARD UNIVERSITY.THROUGH ITS CLINICAL AND CONSULTATION WORK, LISTED BELOW, WIN SERVES 500-800 INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND PROFESSIONALS ANNUALLY. SERVICES INCLUDE: WEEKLY IN-HOME CHILD-PARENT PSYCHOTHERAPY WITH BILINGUAL, MASTER'S-LEVEL WIN CLINICIANS; WEEKLY IN-HOME INDIVIDUAL ADULT THERAPY WITH BILINGUAL, MASTER'S-LEVEL WIN CLINICIANS; INTENSIVE, IN-HOME WIN AND CROSS-AGENCY CASE MANAGEMENT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY INCLUDING BASIC NEEDS SUPPORT, MEDICAL AND HOUSING LINKAGES, AND EARLY INTERVENTION ADVOCACY; PROFESSIONAL-LEVEL, MULTIDISCIPLINARY WIN INFANT MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING & CONSULTATION TO ENSURE THAT NETWORK STAFF AND CLINICIANS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CAN BETTER ADDRESS THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES' NEEDS.OUTCOMES FOR FY 2019: WIN THERAPISTS SUPPORT FAMILIES FACING DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, PTSD AND GENERATIONS OF TRAUMA. IN FY19, WE WORKED WITH 350 INDIVIDUAL FAMILY MEMBERS (87 CHILD/PARENT DYADS AND 11 ADULT INDIVIDUAL CASES) THROUGH OUR INTENSIVE, RELATIONSHIP-BASED CARE. WE MEASURE CLIENT'S PROGRESS BIANNUALLY USING STANDARDIZED SCREENING TOOLS AND FAMILY-SPECIFIC SCHEDULES TO ENSURE QUALITY OF CARE AND IMPACT: 94% OF CHILDREN IMPROVED CHILD DEVELOPMENT OUTCOMES (ASQ-3); 87% SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED CHILD-PARENT RELATIONSHIP QUALITY (PIR-GAS); 94% OF ADULTS EXPERIENCING ELEVATED LEVELS OF PARENTAL STRESS (PSI-4-SF), AND 100% OF PARENTS WITH CLINICALLY SIGNIFICANT LEVELS OF DEPRESSION (CES-D), IMPROVED (RESPECTIVELY).IN FY19, WE ALSO ENTERED THE SECOND YEAR OF IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATION 2 (INN2), OUR CONTRACT WITH THE LA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH. UNDER INN2 WE'RE USING OUR CROSS-AGENCY, RELATIONSHIP-BASED MODEL TO BUILD A TRAUMA-RESILIENT COMMUNITY. IN TOTAL, THROUGH THE INN2 INITIATIVE, WIN HAS IMPACTED THE LIVES OF 1183 FAMILY MEMBERS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND PROFESSIONALS IN SOCIAL WORK AND EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT. THIS INCLUDES SUPPORTING AND TRAINING TEACHERS, FAMILY CHILD-CARE PROVIDERS, AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY IN UNDERSTANDING AND BETTER ADDRESSING CHILDREN'S NEEDS AS IT PERTAINS TO TRAUMA AND ITS COMPLEX STRESSORS, SUPPORTING AND SCREENING HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES DEALING WITH ADVERSITY AT PRENATAL AND PEDIATRIC CLINICS, AND PROVIDING SUBSTANTIALLY MORE IN-HOME BASIC CONCRETE SUPPORTS AND RESOURCE LINKAGES (SUCH AS FOOD, DIAPERS, LEGAL AID, HOUSING, AND REGIONAL CENTER IEP/IFSP ADVOCACY) TO HELP FAMILIES IN STABILIZING THEIR HOME ENVIRONMENTS.
