About this organization
Mission
Our mission statement - Dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth and families through substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, mentoring and vocational skills training. Our purpose is to offer teens options to traditional treatment, through the introduction of vocational skills, as a key to 'opening up' and participating in substance abuse therapy. We provide intensive 14 week sessions and after-care with small groups of teens, 14-19 who have a history of drug or alcohol abuse, academic failure, or delinquency. In these sessions, we combine occupational and service industry skills, job readiness and placement, mentoring, tutoring, skill development, and substance abuse treatment in group and individual sessions, providing intervention and prevention for these teens.
About
Teens were counseled in mental health issues and substance abuse, along with community service and vocational training, plus learning to benefit others in the community.
