Identify and obtain suitable dogs for our program. Utilize professional and volunteer trainers in the training of our dogs to meet the criteria of Assistance Dogs International standards. Provide kennel facilities, food, and veterinary care for the dogs while in training. Screen potential disabled veterans to match with our trained dogs. Train the 'clients' to work with a matched service dog. Transfer the ownership of the service dog to the client, often at no cost to the recipient.
