About

FEEDING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE, INC. (THE "ORGANIZATION") IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO EMPOWER AND MOBILIZE PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE HEALTHY MEALS FOR HUNGRY CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION ORGANIZES SCALABLE FOOD PACKING EVENTS. THESE EVENTS ARE HELD PRIMARILY THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. THE PACKAGED FOOD IS SHIPPED AND DONATED TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS EITHER WITHIN THE VICINITY OF THE PACKING EVENT, TO INTERNATIONAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, OR TO LOCAL FAMILIES THROUGH THE FULL CART PROGRAM. THE FED 40 PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED BY THE ORGANIZATION IN 2016. THIS PILOT PROGRAM RAN THROUGH AUGUST 2018. THE PROGRAM WAS INTENDED TO TEST THE VIABILITY OF THE DIRECT SHIPMENT FOR FOOD ASSISTANCE PACKAGES. SHIPPING OVER 350,000 MEALS IN EIGHTEEN MONTHS OF THE PILOT REVEALED IMPORTANT ACTIONABLE DATA AND WAS CONCLUDED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PILOT PROJECT. IN AUGUST 2018, THE ORGANIZATION COMPLETED THE PILOT AND FROM IT LAUNCHED THE FULL SCALE VERSION OF THE PROGRAM CALLED FULL CART. THE LAUNCH OF THE REVOLUTIONARY FULL CART PROGRAM HAD A MATERIAL IMPACT ON OPERATIONAL COSTS IN 2018. THE PROGRAM SHIPS PACKAGES OF MEAL KITS AND GROCERY ITEMS TO ALL 50 STATES IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND IS NOW THE MAIN DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM FOR THE ORGANIZATION. BRINGING FULL CART TO SCALE REQUIRED AN ADJUSTMENT IN THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDRAISING MODEL, AN INCREASE IN WAREHOUSE CAPACITY, AND A REALIGNMENT OF STAFFING NEEDS. THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2018, THE ORGANIZATION EXPERIENCED A SIGNIFICANT RESPONSE TO THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING THE SHIPMENT OF OVER 150,000 MEALS IN ITS FIRST FOUR MONTHS.
