Anti-hunger network in Essex County, NJ.

About

Emergency food support program: MEND provides a regular supply of foods, funds, and other resources to the 19 food pantries in its hunger relief network. All pantries are located in Essex County, NJ, with 9 in Newark and the rest in surrounding towns and smaller cities. Through the food pantries, 134,000 residents of Essex County were served in 2018. Of the 134,000, 38% were children, 10% were seniors, and the balance were aged 18-64.
