Accomplishments
- We hosted dinner parties based on major american holidays easter, halloween, thanksgiving and christmas to explain the historical and religious background to international students. we hosted a lunar new year party for 40 attendees. took 20 students to visit yosemite valley and was hosted by american church families. sponsored a thanksgiving dinner and program for international students at a local church with 50 attendees. we held weekly meetings at csulb with students to discuss life and christian faith. staff facilitated small group studies with students to learn about the bible and life of jesus. we hosted and sponsored weekly friday night dinner meetings averaging about 20 attendees during the university academic year. programs included discussion on life topics and exploration of christian faith. we held a weekend trip to the local mountains to learn about the story of the bible, build community for students, and to experience the southern california mountains and snow. Expenses $29,893.
