During 2016 Los Angeles Streetcar, Inc. finished up the 15% preliminary engineering drawings and then completed the 35% preliminary engineering drawings for the line, with third party independent cost estimates performed. LASI also worked to secure funding plans for the line and work with the city of Los Angeles on exploring 'public private partnerships (P3s)' as an alternative design, construction, delivery and operation solution to bridge available funding sources on a local level.
