Hope at Hand is a 501(c)(3) that provides poetry therapy for at-risk youth. Using creativity, language, art and therapeutic approaches, we facilitate healing and personal growth to struggling and vulnerable youth populations with limited resources in North Florida.
About
Hope at Hand, Inc. provides poetry lessons in hospitals, homeless shelters, or group home settings at no cost to the recipients. Children will work through fears and feelings as they write, edit and publish their original poems. Hope at Hand, Inc. teaches children confidence and inner strength as they learn to process the difficult world in which they live. Hope at Hand hosts monthly volunteer activities and enjoys a wonderful working relationship with area high schools and the general public.
