Mission

The NYSYLC was the first undocumented youth led organization in New York. We work to empower immigrant youth through leadership development, grassroots organizing, educational advancement, and self-expression. Our goal is to give undocumented youth the tools and space to organize and create change in our communities.

About

Accomplishments include a successful annual immigrant youth empowerment conference which brought together over two hundred students and educators and for a day of resource sharing and community building led by high school students, our youth empowerment program which was a space for a dozen youth to engage in political discussions and fun activities around different themes each day, and the growth of our dream team network to more campuses across the city.
