About this organization
Mission
To provide a professional arts program dedicated to personal growth and self-expression.
About
Young Actors Project produced five plays, seven improv shows and one short film with young students in 2018. We provided after-school classes and summer camps to 350 youth and created special theatrical events for the community to attend. We included children who are on the autism spectrum and those with physical and learning disabilities into our programs. In the aftermath of the Woolsey Fire, Young Actors Project provided drama therapy to help children who had lost their homes and were affected by the devastation to their area. Our programs continue to provide performing arts education to young people in ten communities in the Los Angeles area.
