Our main program includes one-on-one lessons, music theory, african drumming and vocal class. Jazz Lab The ensemble consists of students from AAMI who excel on their particular instrument. The ensemple provides performance opportunities for youth who have studied instruction in composition, improvisation, basic theory, chart reading and ear training. Boys Choir Auditions are open to all young males, starting at the age of eight. They are expected to desplay intense energy and a strong desire to sing and perform. Summer Music Institute Two week immersionprogram with instuction in music fundamentals, improvisation, voice, keyboards and African drumming and dance. This two week session culminates in a performance.
