MEETING AND WORKSHOPS: THE NUMBER OF MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS HELD HAS INCREASED FROM A TOTAL OF TWO EVENTS HELD IN THE UNITED STATES IN 1980, TO A TOTAL OF 305 EVENTS HELD WORLDWIDE IN 2018. IN 2018, DIA CONDUCTED 110 WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING COURSES IN THE UNITED STATES WITH OVER 4,000 PARTICIPANTS. IN ADDITION TO THESE EVENTS, THE DIA ANNUAL MEETING, THE LEADING GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON PHARMACEUTICAL INFORMATION AND EDUCATION, ATTRACTED 6,900 PARTICIPANTS FROM THE US AND ACROSS THE WORLD. IN 2018, DIA CONDUCTED 95 WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING COURSES ACROSS EUROPE, ATTRACTING OVER 3,500 PARTICIPANTS.
