Mission

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

About

Project Learn is our free, formalized homework assistance program offered to 437 low-income students each day after school from September through June. The program is administered in classrooms at our three main clubhouses in Lansdale, Souderton, and Ambler, as well as at two off-site locations, at Hatfield Elementary School and Oak Park Elementary School. Three school districts - North Penn, Souderton Area, and Wissahickon - partner with us on Project Learn. The districts identify, select, and transport students to us daily, and share critical information to help us assist each student, including report-card grades, PSSA, DIBELS and DRA benchmark scores. Project Learn has been awarded the Pennsylvania statewide youth development award. All students will be low-income; receive free or reduced-cost lunch; and attend a Title I school. We have provided this program for more than 15 years, and there is no cost to students or their families. North Penn United Way is the lead funder of this important program.
