Rowan University Alumni Association ('The Association') was founded in 1924 by 120 members of the charter class at Rowan University, the former Glassboro State College. The Association is a not-for-profit organization which represents over 84,000 active alumni who live in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and approximately 35 foreign countries. All graduates of Rowan University are members of The Association. The Association sponsors special events which benefit certain University programs or activities and Rowan University Foundation's scholarships.
