To create and maintain an environment that encourages independence for older adults by providing learning, social, and recreational opportunities in the continuing pursuit of a fulfilling and healthy life. We educate the community about the issues related to the aging process.

For the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2019, the Sebastopol Area Senior Center had participation in the following programs: 1,000 for Art/Culture/Music 2,000 for Educational classes 3,100 for Fitness,Exercise, Health & wellness 4,000 for social/recreation 2,400 for social services In addition, our volunteer drivers provided 3,200 rides to individuals and, in collaboration with the Council on Aging, over 9,000 meals were served in house and 13,000 meals delivered to home-bound seniors.
