AccessMatters’ mission is to protect, expand, and enhance equitable access to sexual and reproductive health care and information for all people. AccessMatters works to make sure that teens and adults have access to the sexual and reproductive health services and information they seek. Adult sexual and reproductive health: AccessMatters hosts a number of different programs providing individuals with accessible, confidential sexual and reproductive health services. These life-saving and life-changing services include: affordable FDA-approved birth control, pregnancy planning, breast and cervical cancer screening, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV testing, and referrals for other services like prenatal care and primary care. AccessMatters network of 22 family planning providers in over 50 locations serves over 100,000 individuals with sexual and reproductive health services. The CDC and state-funded HealthyWoman program administered by AccessMatters in southeastern Pennsylvania provides close to 5,000 women 21 years old and older with breast and cervical cancer screening and prevention services.
