Morning Star Ministries of the North Penn Area, Inc.("MSM")continues to achieve its exempt purpose through assisting young women with housing,mentoring and guidance,life skills, and nutrition during the very difficult time of unplanned pregnancy. We assisted in the area of interpersonal relationships, parenting,and goal setting. Many of the women have reconciled with their parents and the babies' father. Others made decisions about finding new housing, and providing a means of support for themselves and their child. In 2018 we assisted 8 young women deliver their healthy babies and learn the skills required to succeed in their new lives as parents. Over the prior two year periods respectively, the average number of women assisted through MSM increased 5.5%. The average time that women spent in the MSM program increased 45% from 2017 to 2018. Over the past three years we assisted,on average, 8.7 young women for an average stay of 3.9 months.
