Mission

Our mission is to preserve land and natural resources throughout New Jersey for the benefit of all. New Jersey Conservation Foundation is one of the nation’s leading statewide land conservation organizations. Working with landowners, public agencies and other conservation partners, we have protected more than 125,000 acres of forest, farmland, wetlands, parks and trails. We manage more than 27,000 acres – more land and conservation easements than any other nonprofit in New Jersey. We offer technical assistance, grants, advocacy and organizational support to the conservation community and have helped foster the formation of many conservation groups.
