Our employment specialists assisted in providing employment and vocational services. By stressing employment, along with addiction treatment which includes group, individual, and family therapies, we have found that our clients feel more productive early on which increases the likelihood of a stable recovery. The facility provides a caring, highly structured environment where people recovering from addiction can regain their self-worth and develop skills necessary to make a sober, successful, transition back to work, family and society. When clients enter one of our halfway houses, they are entering a homelike environment that is clean, safe, supportive and reflective of a healthy lifestyle. Also, while in treatment, our clients learn self-care along with the daily life skills of caring for a home while preforming daily chores around the house and on the grounds. Our kitchen facilities were used daily to teach clients menu planning, safe food preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
