The club provides a warm, intimate environment, safely encouraging interaction between participants that enhances mental acuity, congeniality, safety and comfort. Participants enjoy: exercise group discussion singing 'oldies' story time games meal sharing current newspaper stories national geographic articles documentaries movies and special events. Periodically we hold family gatherings for family and participants to enjoy each others company. Brunswick area respite care in addition to the 'club' offers the following to friends, families and caregivers: alzheimers/dementia support groups this group is designed for caregivers who are needing resources, education and emotional support for all who are supporting individuals facing the challenges of alzheimers or other dementias
