Rockport Music exists to create live, intimate musical performances that have the power to enrich and even transform lives, and to provide educational experiences for our audience members and our greater Cape Ann community, including students of all ages.

For over 35 years, Rockport Music has been committed to one enduring purpose-enriching lives through great music. As owner and operator of the state-of-the-art, 330-seat Shalin Liu Performance Center (SLPC), Rockport Music is located in the scenic seaport village of Rockport, Massachusetts and presents more than 155 exceptional musical performances and events year round. Inclusive in that number is: the Rockport Chamber Music Festival, which hosts over 20 ticketed performances and a similar number of free public concerts and presentations, including 'pop up' concerts, in five weeks during June and July each year; the Rockport Jazz Festival; the Rockport Celtic Festival and live HD broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera, the National Theater of England and the Bolshoi Ballet. Additionally, a large number of popular, folk and world music concerts fills out the rest of our 52-week season, which attracts over 37,000 patrons each year.
