During 2018 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County provided services to more than 5,000 youth in Union County. We operate community service centers in Union, Elizabeth, Roselle, Plainfield and Hillside which provide recreational activities, including swimming, social and educational activities and summer camp. During the year the staff were aided by more than 200 community volunteers who provided more than 7,700 hours of volunteer service to the assist us in providing these services.Sports, Fitness & Recreation - These programs help develop fitness, a positive use of leisure time, reduction of stress, appreciation for the environment and social & interpersonal skills. Programs include physical fitness, basketball clinics and leagues, golf instruction, self defense, etc. Our aquatics programs include swim lessons, swim team and lifeguard training.
