VALLE DE ORO - This project focuses on native riparian re-vegetation on the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge. The objectives completed for this project included harvesting, transporting and planting 515 cottonwood poles in Unit 2 harvesting, transporting and planting 15,000 coyote willow in Unit 1 harvesting, transporting and planting 8008 saltgrass plugs in Unit 5 and six community events providing work experience and educational opportunities for local organizations, youth groups and community members.
