About
Two members of the board of the American Foundation for the Paris School of Economics attended a total nine all-day meetings of a commission of teachers and scholars charged with designing a new architecture for the national high school curriculum for economics and social sciences. The commission, which had begun its work the previous year, rewrote the structure for the subject matter for 11th and 12th grades and reviewed criteria for the national baccalaureat exam, which all students take at the end of high school. At the end of May, the work of the commission was presented to the Minister of Education, who approved the commission's recommendations and put them into effect.
