About this organization
Mission
The WorkFaith Connection provides faith-based training and coaching for anyone who desires long-term employment.
About
The mission of the WorkFaith Connection is to equip disadvantaged job seekers with the skills and beliefs to gain employment and to lead productive, grateful and spiritually rich lives; lives surrendered to God's will, God's way, and God's timing. We provide gospel-focused job readiness training, job stabilization support, and career advancement coaching for disadvantaged job seekers. Many students have been homeless, in prison, struggled with addiction, or have experienced other unstable life patterns. WorkFaith equips these disadvantaged job seekers to find and sustain employment, to believe they are worthy of God's love, and to grow in their faith. In 2017, thirty-nine 8-day employment preparation workshops were hosted and 447 new adults graduated from our program. Of these, approximately 71% have successfully rejoined the job market.
