Spirit Series - a rigorous, three-week drama-based literacy & values intervention - served 3,569 fourth to eighth grade students in Southern California, New England and Northern California during the 2017-18 academic year. Approximately 9,635 additional students experienced on-campus performances of one of the series' six inspiring one-act biographical plays, participating in an in-depth summary discussion that followed each performance. More than 90 classroom teachers also received 15 hours of professional development training as they supported series' classroom leaders who modeled the program's highly acclaimed teaching techniques to engage, empower and inspire under-served public school students.
