To provide an integrated, community-based trauma response program utilizing state-of-the-art, trauma-specific intervention strategies with the goal of decreasing the negative effects of maltreatment and exposure to traumatic incidents and community violence on children, youth and families. The program includes the rainbow dance program, trauma informed care training, PFA, SPR, PTSM TIC 101 & 102 certification, suicide prevention and trauma informed leadership change workshops. Between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019, BCF served 1,481 clients with face to face services; 1,481 service recipients were between the ages of 3 and 18 years. Between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 BCF provided 5372.50 direct service hours. The utilization rates for the 315,000 DMH funds for the fiscal year were 212.69 expended per service recipient and 58.63 per service hour.
