Our mission is to promote the healing of child abuse victims - one child at a time.

Provided services and referrals to help meet the emotional, physical, and financial needs of victims and their protective family members, in order to help stabilize the family's life after victimization. Performed monthly meetings for case review and discussion of new cases. The meeting provided an opportunity to coordinate agency investigations and share relevant case information. Conducted forensic interviews with children who were alleged to have been sexually and/or severely physically abused or witness to violent crimes. The forensic interview is conducted in a child friendly environment by professionals trained in a wide spectrum of areas related to childhood development, sexual abuse dynamics and other issues pertaining to questioning children about allegations of abuse. Provided free, on-site counseling services, including individual, family, and group therapy, specifically targeting issues related to child abuse. Provided outreach education to the community members as to how to recognize signs of child abuse and to report it. Provided education to children about personal safety in an effort to prevent abuse, as well as how to get help if abuse is already occurring or has occurred.
