Family Advocacy, Counseling, and Training Services Program (FACTS) -This program provides linkages for individuals injured before age 22 and their families with community-based services and supports. Activities included developing support groups, representing the Association at local health fairs, advocating for the needs and rights of individuals with brain injury and their families members, attending school and other meetings regarding obtaining appropriate services, training service providers, coaches, and families about TBI, and conducting prevention education to school districts and community groups. (Continued on Schedule O)The LEARNet website, www.projectlearnet.org, is a problem-solving system designed to help families, educators, and professionals to assist in determining the most appropriate intervention strategies for a variety of behavioral challenges exhibited by students with brain injury.The program also generates $674,694 in government grant contributions included on Form 990, Part VIII, line 1e.
