In 2018, the foundation invested over $2.3 million through a unique set of programs including $2,023,000 to 71 youth-serving nonprofits from our invest in youth grant program, as well as a significant investment in a new restorative justice model for Brooklyn public schools via our Brooklyn restorative justice project. Our Brooklyn youth activists also entered its fourth year, allowing young Brooklyn residents the opportunity to be community grantmakers.
