About this organization
Mission
Our mission is to provide girls in the Palo Alto area with the opportunity to enjoy and play softball to the best of their abilities while fostering the spirit of true sportsmanship.
About
Palo Alto Girls Softball, formerly Palo Alto Bobby Sox, has been serving our communities for more than 30 years. The organization, including the Board of Directors, is made entirely of volunteers working hard behind the scenes to give our kids the opportunity to play softball. We currently support a spring recreation league for all girls ages 5 to 14 with “select” teams in the age divisions looking for more competitive play, a summer recreational and competitive USA softball tournament program at the 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u age divisions, and a fall recreational league with select teams in the age divisions looking for more competitive play. PAGS is a member of the USA Softball Association, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing sports organizations, which has also been named the National Governing Body of Softball by the United States Olympic Committee.
