Kids' Food Basket Cornerstone Sack Supper and Volunteer Programs provide a direct service to a direct need. Sack suppers are nutritious, ready-to-eat evening meals delivered every weekday to nearly 8,200 children across West Michigan. Each meal is prepared, packed and delivered with the support of more than 250 daily volunteers. Volunteers provide more than 92,000 hours of time (valued at 24.85 per hour) and our community donated more than 143,000 lbs of in-kind food to help us serve a total of 1,190,090 meals in Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa counties. When including the 2,286,200 in volunteer hours, adjusted program efficiency is 83%.
