Yad Ezra provides supplemental kosher food, necessities and enhancements of holidays and life cycle events to those in need in the Jewish community. We are committed to operating a high quality food pantry through the hard work and support of staff, donors, and volunteers. We assist our clients in applying for SNAP benefits (supplemental nutrition assistance program) and referring them to other agencies for additional services that are available to them. In addition to providing free groceries to food insecure Jewish families, we serve members of the greater community through donating non kosher grocery items to Gleaners Community Food Bank of SE Michigan, agencies in emergency situations, and any family in need at least one time.
