On-site: Completed a strategic framework that has provided effective guidance for the staff and board. We offered 96 adult education classes to 1,048 participants. Classes ranged from elementary to advanced native plant garden design, plant propagation, irrigation and maintenance to post-fire regeneration and invasive species. An additional 166 teachers and landscapers took part in professional training. Approximately 12,800 people visited the nursery and gardens. 233 volunteers and 3,360 members helped work toward achieving TPF's mission. Taught 1,344 K-12 students from mostly Title 1 schools. Organized three exhibitions in the Theodore Payne Gallery. Completed the 35th year of the Wild Flower Hotline. Hosted Bird LA Day events, Boy Scout volunteers, and family programs.
