ELINGS PARK IS THE LARGEST RECREATIONAL COMPLEX IN SANTA BARBARA, PROVIDING OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL NEEDS AND CREATING A HEALTHIER AND MORE VIBRANT COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO DEVELOP AND OPERATE A 230-ACRE PARK FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENJOY. THE PARK SERVES OVER 216,000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY AND MAINTAINS SPECIAL EVENT VENUES HOSTING OVER 100 GROUPS ANNUALLY FOR WEDDINGS, GRADUATIONS, MEMORIAL SERVICES AND OTHER REVENUE-GENERATING EVENTS. THE PARK IS A DESTINATION WEDDING VENUE AND WINNER OF THE PRESTIGOUS KNOT BEST OF WEDDING AWARD. THE TWO MULTI-USE NATUARL TURF FIELDS SERVE OVER 5,000 SOCCER, RUGBY AND LACROSSE PLAYERS, BOTH YOUTH AND ADULT GROUPS. THE THREE LIGHTED SOFTBALL/BASEBALL FIELDS ARE HOME TO THE LARGEST ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE IN SANTA BARBARA AND TOURNAMENTS THAT SERVE OVER 5,000 PLAYERS. THE SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAM IS RATED ONE OF THE BEST PROGRAMS IN THE COUNTY, WITH OVER 900 CHILDREN PARTICIPATING, IN WHICH MANY CHILDREN RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS. ELINGS PARK OFFERS THE LARGEST OFF-LEASH DOG PARK IN THE REGION AND THE ELINGS PARK DOG OWNER GROUP CURRENTLY HAS OVER 650 REGISTERED MEMBERS.
