Mission

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire is to provide strong and enduring, one-to-one professionally supported mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

About

We provide professionally supported one-to-one mentors (bigs) for underserved Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County children and youth (littles) ages 6-25. Matches spend quality time together on activities that are recreational, cultural, and/or academic. The development of a strong and enduring relationship guides children and youth towards a deep and enriching future. Among the youth we serve, our goal is to increase the number that complete postsecondary education, are prepared for successful careers, and live long and healthy lives. We provide mentoring through three major program models: traditional (community based) mentoring, high school bigs and workplace mentoring. We also now serve youth past the age of 18 through our destination future initiative.
