Our mission is to collect, preserve and promote the culture and history of Santa Catalina Island and to bring unique exhibitions to Catalina. Our vision is to be an anchor of tradition, a beacon of culture, inspiring our communities.

Additionally, the Museum presents a rotating contemporary sculpture program celebrating the work of Southern California artists. Tours of the museum's exhibitions and sites in our city of Avalon are conducted regularly.
