About this organization
Mission
Monument Impact’s mission is to ensure that immigrants, refugees and low-income residents in Central and East Contra Costa County have the voice, tools and relationships necessary to have an equitable share of the social and economic wealth in our region.
About
Community engagement: Monument Impact provides leadership development for community members who identify issues of great concern and then advocate for policy to address inequities in the community. We offer immigration legal services in partnership with Jewish Family Community Services of the East Bay. As a partner of Stand Together Contra Costa (STCC), we support the STCC hotline and offer know your rights and legal observer workshops, and immigration forums. We provide resource and referrals for community members needing emergency services, housing, health care and more. Over 5,600 people were served in all our programs in 2018 and another 13,200 received free rides to service centers in the Concord on our Monument community shuttle.
