Mission

We pioneer regenerative orthopaedic treatments to stimulate the body's own healing properties and reduce the suffering of sports injuries and arthritis. In our clinical research Program, we conduct outcome studies to measure the effectiveness of the biologic surgical techniques developed and utilized at The Stone Clinic as well as at other clinics around the world. We conduct translational research to prove the scientific merit of new biologic approaches. We disseminate the results of this research through presentations, publications, and education so that others may benefit, and advance the standard of care in orthopaedics.

About

SuccessesFor over a decade the Foundation has helped to bring regenerative joint repair solutions directly to patients. Our research focuses on analyzing leading-edge biologic techniques that stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. In the past, artificial joint replacement was the primary option for treating debilitating joint disease. Today, patients have the option of regenerative repair which is less invasive, allows for faster healing and restores biologic joint services. Biologic joint services are superior to metal and plastics because they feel more natural in the body and allow for activity levels not possible with artificial joint replacement.Outcome studies and basic science research conducted by the Foundation support treatments that return patients to healthier, more active and more productive lives than was previously possible.EducationPhysicians and other medical professionals learn leading-edge treatments emanating from the research performed. Worldwide publications and presentations proliferate those results.
