Mission

ROSE Community Development is a non-profit organization in southeast Portland that builds affordable housing and creates neighborhood opportunities for residents to thrive. We have developed more than 430 affordable homes, including rental and for-sale projects. Additionally, we do comprehensive community development through our Resident Assets, Baby Booster and Lents Youth Initiative programs, giving families the resources and support they need to be successful. Our 25 years of experience in affordable housing has given us a deep, local knowledge of the impact a supportive community can have for families. We value community collaboration, diversity, integrity, and respect.

About

Housing - ROSE develops affordable housing for rent and for sale to low-income households. We manage and maintain a portfolio of rental housing to provide good homes for low-income residents and maintain housing stock as a long-term asset for our neighborhoods. We currently operate 469 affordable housing units and there are two new projects in pre-development totaling 129 units. During FY 2019 we completed the Orchards of 82nd mixed use building and the Woody Guthrie Place Apartments.
