Believing that every child deserves a safe and supportive place to grow, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of Greater Las Vegas creates and supports programs that directly improve the health, education, and well-being of children in our community. The Ronald McDonald House® is the cornerstone program of RMHC and provides temporary housing for families who travel to Las Vegas to receive critical medical treatment for their children. RMHC also fulfills its mission through the Ronald McDonald Family Room, the Lunch Is On Us! Program, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Dental Program, and the RMHC of Greater Las Vegas Scholarship Program.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE (RMH) KEEPS FAMILIES CLOSE WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST BY PROVIDING A TEMPORARY "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" FOR FAMILIES WHO MUST TRAVEL TO LAS VEGAS TO RECEIVE CRITICAL MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THE HOUSE ACCOMMODATES UP TO 12 FAMILIES, OR 72 FAMILY MEMBERS, AT ONE TIME. FAMILIES HAVE THEIR OWN BEDROOM SUITES WITH PRIVATE BATHROOMS, PLAY AREAS FOR THE CHILDREN, AN ADULT RESPITE ROOM, A FULLY-STOCKED PANTRY AND LAUNDRY FACILITY, LOUNGE AREAS, AND BACKYARD. THE HOUSE PROVIDES HOME-COOKED DINNERS, HEALTHY SACK LUNCHES, AND RIDES TO THE HOSPITAL EVERY DAY. WE ASK FOR A 10/NIGHT DONATION BUT NO FAMILY IS EVER TURNED AWAY DUE TO AN INABILITY TO PAY. IN 2019, THE HOUSE PROVIDED 306 FAMILY STAYS FOR A TOTAL OF 2,953 NIGHTS.
