Concerts & Events: The Earshot Jazz organization is respected for balancing 31 years of forward thinking concert presentations with many services to the community. Earshot presented over 100 events in 2018 including the 30th annual Earshot Jazz Festival which featured performances by many well known musicians, like Jane Bunnett and Maqueque, Myra Melford, Maria Schneider, Tia Fuller Quartet, Jay Clayton, Dawn Clement, Vernon Raid Band of Gypsys, Jovino Santos Neto Big Band & Quinteto. Earshot presented the 30th annual Concert of Duke Ellington's Sacred Music, the longest running presentation of this music in the country, which features an all-star big band, guest vocal soloist, gospel choir, and tap dancer. Earshot presented the Jazz: The Second Century series which presents new music by resident artists with the goal to expand and question the conventional boundaries and parameters of the jazz form.
