Mission

FOBTC's mission is to preserve and enhance the Camp Tuolumne Family Camp experience for present and future generations.

About

A) FOBTC devoted the organization's time and attention towards its Rebuild Fund Capital CAMPaign in 2019. This capital campaign had the goal of raising a million dollars in order to contribute towards the rebuilding of the community's beloved City of Berkeley Tuolumne Family Camp. Tuolumne Family Camp is located off of Hiway 120 near Yosemite and was burned to the ground in the devastating Rim Fire of 2013. The Rebuild Fund Capital Campaign entailed reaching out to the Berkeley Tuolumne Family Camp community throughout the year through a variety of events, updates, and individual meetings. B) FOBTC held its annual Gala event on Sept. 19, 2019 in the midst of our Rebuild Fund Capital CAMPaign. The event was held in the Stadium Club atop the west end of U.C. Berkeley's Memorial Stadium and included a silent auction and a live auction. The Gala was well-attended and went a long way towards helping FOBTC meet its capital campaign fund-raising goals. C) FOBTC held its annual Labor Day Weekend gathering starting on Friday, August 30, 2019. It was held at the City of Berkeley's Echo Lake Camp off of Hiway 50 near South Lake Tahoe. FOBTC rented the camp from the City of Berkeley and charged registration fees in order to cover the cost of renting the Camp. It was a fun and restful weekend for the FOBTC community.
