Mission

The Moraga Education Foundation raises funds to preserve and enhance educational opportunities for all students attending Moraga public schools, through a broad-based community effort. We believe that together, the entire community can build a better future for our children consistent with the educational goals of the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School.

About

The state of California has failed to adequately fund public education for over 40 years and currently ranks 32nd in per-pupil funding. Within California, Moraga is among the lowest-funded districts. The Moraga Education Foundation provides a way for the Moraga community to fill the gap between state funding and the actual cost of educating our students. MEF raises funds every year through a broad-based community effort and makes annual grants to the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School. MEF is also committed to growing the MEF Endowment Fund until it is at a level that can provide an ongoing source of support for our schools.
