The West Valley Arts Council (WVA) enriches the West Valley by growing a vibrant and connected arts and cultural community.
About
West Valley Arts Council worked with over 40 schools in the West Valley. We coordinated 29 professional developments workshops for arts and music teachers which impacted over 20 elementary schools and their students. We produced 6 performing arts programs for over 2,500, 4th grade students to experience opera, African drumming, Native American dance and classical music. Our Arts HQ Gallery coordinated 16 exhibits featuring local artists, 10 workshops and 16 artist lectures. The gallery also serves as a black box space and we presented 11 lunchtime theater programs and evening concerts. Our annual Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival, a free family-friendly event brought in over 12,000 in 2019
