Mission

Children's House International provides ethical adoption services, child focused recruitment, and family support. We support disadvantaged children with humanitarian aid in countries worldwide.

About

Children's House International advocates for children worldwide and provides ethical adoption services and support to children and families. We are licensed to provide homestudies in five states. CHI maintains a strong reputation for child advocacy for waiting children with licenses/permission to provide adoption in 12 countries. We strive to provide homes for children who have mild to severe special needs and have placed over 3000 children world wide into loving homes since 1995. Currently we have 1000 Post Adoption Reports in progress according to our PAR department. We also extend humanitarian aid efforts to the children who are not adopted or adoptable; to provide options for them to remain in a positive and healthy environment in their own countries. Ethiopia:CHI supported a remote village in Ethiopia with school supplies and bee husbandry for the locals for the first 4 years we worked there. In addition, for the past 7 years, CHI has supported an extremely poor small community of 100 families in the Bole Bulbula area of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We have worked hard to change the cycle of extreme poverty for this group of women, children and elderly people who have no means to support themselves. We have supplied food and personal care items; school tuition, uniforms and supplies, plus have given dental and medical assistance through the generous donations to Children's House International. We are also proud to have been able to place over 500 children from toddler to teen into loving homes of US Citizens. Although adoptions are no longer permitted to US Citizens, CHI continues to sponsor over 50 children with educational needs. India: Children's House International has served the orphaned children of India since our inception in 1975. CHI works closely with the Central Adoption Resource Authority of India to sustain an ethical and transparent adoption process. India is our oldest adoption program and we have placed over 1,000 orphaned children into loving adoptive homes. CHI is providing sponsorship for children in India in need of medical and educational support. Eastern Europe:In our Eastern Europe countries, most of the children have a range of special needs and medical diagnosis from minor to severe. There are endless opportunities to provide humanitarian aid to the children in these Eastern European countries and it is the mission of Children's House International to provide aid to these families and children when possible.
