Museum is open to visitors Wed-Sun noon p.m. year round, no admission charge. 10,000+ people annually visit over 20,000 artifacts in collection: indoor and outdoor permanent and rotated exhibits. Monthly newsletter, semi-annual tabloid and descriptive brochure. Gold Nugget Days celebration of community origins, includes parade, barbeque, donkey derby, costume contest and melodrama, attended by crowds exceeding 20,000 viewers.
