ALLOCATIONS: GRANTS ARE AWARDED FOR HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMS THAT MEET SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES FOR THREE AREAS OF COMMUNITY IMPACT - EDUCATION, INCOME FINANCIAL STABILITY, AND HEALTH. ONLY THE 26 UNITED WAY OF STANISLAUS COUNTY PARTNER AGENCIES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS THREE YEAR FUNDING WHICH IS A COMPETETIVE PROCESS. AGENCIES AND THE PROGRAMS THEY PROVIDE ARE CLOSELY MONITORED BY STAFF AND OVER 75 VOLUNTEERS FOR FISCAL AND PROGRAM ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGH IMPACT COUNCILS. DONOR DESIGNATIONS: DONORS HAVE THE OPTION OF SELECTING A NON PROFIT IRS 501(c)(3) ORGANIZATION TO WHICH THEY CAN DIRECT THEIR DONATION. AGENCIES ARE SCREENED TO VERIFY THEIR NON PROFIT IRS 501(c)(3) STATUS BEFORE DONATION IS SENT TO THE AGENCY.
