About
Create Common Good (CCG) uses food to change lives and build healthy communities. CCG trains individuals with barriers to employment such as refugees, women affected by domestic violence, people overcoming addiction or incarceration through valuable on-the-job food service skills training for long-term self-sufficiency. We operate a commercial kitchen and all the food produced is with the intention of developing the skills and talents of at-risk populations, while also broadening access to fresh healthy foods. Our foodservice training and work opportunities provide a space where trainees learn about workplace expectations, readying them for success in future work. CCG sells food product and services to both retail and wholesale customers, furthering the job training and employment programs they offer. CCG produces snack for childcare facilities, community meals for a local non-profit parent support group, & food for businesses and other institutions throughout the community.
